Vunky Blog is a blog about design and development. It contains everything I come across in my day to day job as a designer and active Ruby on Rails developer. It is written by me: a dutch designer living in Amsterdam and loving the internet.

Photography

At the moment I am also aspiring to become a professional photographer. You can find some of my work on vincentbakker.net I find photography to be fun and a great creative outlet. I tend to use it more in my projects and find it to be a fantastic addition to design work.

For hire

Since January 2009 I started working full time as a web-designer and developer. At the moment I am in the process of building and launching a couple of webservices. (BlueShark App and dBox App)

Yeah I know it looks like a spelling error. Although this time it’s made on purpose. My first name is Vincent and if you replace the F in Funky you get Vunky. I thought it was a fun combo and decided to stick with it. Hey, Google sounds rather strange at first too… Right?
